Hello! we are Bem Bolado Group
Through the bold decision to expand horizons, we launched the Original Tabaco brand in 2020, which brought our genuinely Brazilian DNA to the organic tobacco market. In 2022, inspired by Street and Surf wear, we decided to launch the fashion line Weed Wear, which expresses our belief in the future through hemp and sustainable resources in fashion.
At the end of 2023, we acquired the lighter company GTI and consolidated ourselves as a group. Our desire is to bring the best possible experience to our audience, with all the diversity and creativity of our line-up. We started with four visionary minds who believed in the potential for innovation, branding, and creativity of the Brazilian market, and today we aim to expand and impact the whole world with good ideas.

Fabrício Penafiel
Marketing Officer
Born into a family of artists, Fabrício has a reference to activism in his mother since the 1970s, during the struggle against the dictatorship in Brazil. Hippie culture was part of his childhood and this reference was fundamental in the creation of the brand. He is the one who runs the creative side of the most Bem Bolado marketing in Brazil. In his wealth of experience, Fabrício has 28 years of experience in the main advertising agencies, such as Agnelo Pacheco and Carillo Pastrone. Another important step in his career is the experience of working with major clients, as he was art director of brands such as Embratel and Antártica. From 2001 to 2014, he operated his own advertising agency.

Renato Lucato
Sales Officer
Renato comes from a family that loves and understands the natural tobacco market very well. His father was one of the important names at major rave parties in the years 1990 to 2000, with a lot of access to the underground universe and to brands in the sector. It was what he needed for him to awaken his hunger to undertake and create products. A lover of surfing and nature, Renato had a remarkable career in the surf wear business. His resume includes sales representation jobs at Quicksilver, DC Shoes, and other international brands. Aware of the world, after years living in several countries, he acquired an accurate vision of sales based on dialogue and transparency.

Thiago Almeida
CEO and Managing Director
With skateboarding, Thiago learned street activism in the 90s and experienced the entire revolution from napkin to paper to the sound of "Legalize já". Contrary to what people could imagine, he became an adman with a very latent entrepreneurship spirit. Onboarding departments is his specialty, after all, 13 years working in large advertising agencies have given him an ability to deal with several branches of communication and marketing. In addition to this experience, he participated in the management of the film production company TAZ, in which he was a partner and responsible for coordinating major projects. His career includes working at agencies such as DM9, Leo Burnett, and J.W. Thompson, in addition to providing direct service to clients such as Honda, P&G, Cerveja Sol, and others.

Fernando Costa
Sales Officer
Our voice of experience is a visionary. He accepted the invitation to join the Bem Bolado family and explore a developing market, bringing with him a new way of boosting the brand's business and expanding our horizons with a lot of spirit and good mood. Graduated in Business Administration from PUC/SP and with an MBA from Getúlio Vargas Foundation, he has more than 20 years of experience in the Brazilian consumer goods market, having worked for Japanese, American, and German multinationals. As an executive, he worked in the administrative, trade marketing, and sales departments, and was National Sales Manager in the companies he worked for. He has experience gained through the Wholesaler, Supermarket, Cash in Carry, and Distributors channels.

In a session of good ideas, Bem Bolado Brasil was created in 2012 by four friends with restless minds, with different expertise in the retail consumer goods market. Our differential was persistence, branding, and a strong sales position, responsible for our growth. The brand has a great connection with its different audiences.

The fashion label of Bem Bolado group focuses on urban expression, inspired by the phenomenon caused by Street and Surf Wear. The label was created in 2022, focusing on existing sustainability and innovation in the proposal to use hemp as raw material and durable resource.

The lighter company GTI was the last company to be acquired by Bem Bolado Brasil, at the end of 2023, and transformed the brand into GBB Grupo Bem Bolado Brasil. Focusing on importation, the operation of this new branch amplifies the line-up and further roots branding, the Group's great differential, in the minds and hearts of the audience.
